ZN-2 Soft Armor Pouch Set
Protective Gear for Modern Combat
In today’s combat scenarios, casualties from artillery, airstrikes, and explosive devices far outnumber those from bullets. During assaults, it's standard practice to throw a grenade—or better yet, two—into a room before entering to ensure the safety of the team. To safeguard against shrapnel, soldiers use additional pouches (modules) alongside armor plates to protect the neck, shoulders, groin, and lower back.
Key Features:
- Pouch designed for housing aramid panels to shield shoulders from shrapnel.
- The pouch attaches to shoulder straps of the PANCIR soft armor carrier using a system of belt straps with Velcro and dual slots. Special slits in the plate carrier’s soft shoulder pads allow for secure attachment.
- Additional shoulder fixation is achieved via a horizontal elastic band (rubber strap). One end is sewn in place, while the other wraps around the bicep and fastens with Velcro.
- Shoulder protectors consist of a pocket for aramid panels, externally covered with soft Velcro for attaching patches and identification markers.
Material: Made from durable 500D fabric, the set weighs approximately 280 grams without soft armor inserts.
