Soviet Tank Destroyer SU-85 Model Kit

The SU-85 is a medium-weight Soviet self-propelled artillery unit designed as a tank destroyer. It was actively and successfully deployed from September 1943 until the end of World War II.

Manufactured at the Ural Heavy Machinery Plant (Uralmash) between August 1943 and July 1944, a total of 2,337 units were produced. Equipped with the powerful 85mm D-5S gun, the SU-85 effectively engaged enemy medium tanks at distances over a kilometer and could penetrate the frontal armor of heavy tanks at closer ranges.
