Self-inflating mats, which at the beginning of their existence were good for everything except weight, are getting closer to their glorious polyurethane foam predecessors in this parameter. "Surfing 3" is suitable for all types of tourism, both extreme and not so much.

The mat has an anatomical shape that affects weight loss, but the smoothness of the lines allows you to minimize all the restrictions that are associated with this. Several mats laid by the "jack" fill the floor of the tent without noticeable gaps.

The mat consists of an open-pored polyurethane foam, permeated with air channels that reduce the weight of the structure and accelerate the filling of the mat with air. Retains air and protects the mat from moisture penetration dense, air-waterproof, lightweight and soft synthetic fabric resistant to cuts and punctures.

The anti-slip coating on the underside of the mat prevents the carpets from spreading over the tent. The plastic-coated valve allows you to freely pump up the mat and release air from it.

An important detail is also the fact that in the packed form the carpet takes only 15x27 cm (transport bag included).

When using self-inflating mats, it is important to remember that they are more vulnerable than traditional "foams". You can not put them under the tent or directly on sharp stones or branches. It is also better to blow off the mats either in a tent or on some kind of substrate, and if this is not possible, make sure that there are no sharp objects under the carpet.
