Historical Background:
The Henschel Hs 126B-1 entered production in 1938 as a monoplane with fixed landing gear, designed primarily as a reconnaissance and artillery-spotting aircraft. By late 1942, it was adapted for night reconnaissance missions and later converted into a light bomber. Despite ceasing production in early 1941, this versatile aircraft remained in service until the end of WWII in 1945. Armed with two machine guns boasting ammunition capacities of 500 and 1,125 rounds, it achieved a cruising speed of 314 km/h and a maximum speed of 370 km/h at 5,000 meters.

Key Features in Art of Tactic:
This aircraft is an essential unit for high-point games. It excels at eliminating infantry and light armored vehicles while performing reconnaissance missions. Its standout ability lies in coordinating artillery fire. However, its weak armor makes it vulnerable in direct combat.
