Description

NPA Nasopharyngeal Airway from the LEAF Project is a flexible tube made of soft, silicone-coated rubber designed for insertion into the nasal passage to ensure an open airway. This device provides a clear breathing channel for semi-conscious or unconscious patients with an intact gag reflex.

Key features:

• One end features a beveled cut for easy insertion, while the other has a special stop ring to prevent the tube from slipping completely inside the patient’s body.
• Unlike oropharyngeal airways, nasopharyngeal airways are more reliable during transport and movement, as the nasal cavity is less prone to triggering the gag reflex.
• Includes a gel lubricant for easier installation (found inside the packaging).
