Soviet BTR-70 Armored Personnel Carrier Model Kit (Afghan War 1979-1989)

Build a detailed replica of the iconic Soviet BTR-70 armored personnel carrier, widely used during the Afghan War (1979-1989). This model reflects the modifications made by Soviet troops to enhance battlefield survivability.

Historical Background: The BTR-70 was upgraded in the field with an AGS-17 grenade launcher mounted on the turret and additional protection from water containers and spare tires. These adaptations countered threats from guerrilla forces, including anti-tank weapons and mines.

This plastic model kit includes all parts needed to assemble one highly detailed BTR-70. Assembly requires special glue, available separately from the manufacturer "Zvezda".
