Description

Build Your Own Varyag Cruiser - a legendary Russian warship model.

Historical Background: The cruiser was built in 1899 in the USA for Russia. With a displacement of 6,500 tons, a speed of 23 knots, and armed with 12x152mm deck-mounted guns, it joined the fleet in 1901. On February 9, 1904, after an unequal battle at Chemulpo with superior Japanese forces, the crew scuttled the ship without lowering the St. Andrew's flag.

This plastic model kit includes all parts to assemble one highly detailed Varyag cruiser replica.

Assembly requires special glue (sold separately by "Zvezda").
