To date, a huge number of warm and light sleeping bags with modern synthetic insulation are produced. In particular, the sleeping bags offered in our store with Primaloft® Silver insulation, actually having the lightness of down, approach it in terms of their thermal characteristics.

And yet ...

If you are seriously keen on light walking or are going on a heavy, for example, a high-altitude hike, where your condition will directly depend on the weight and volume of the backpack on your back, we highly recommend you a down sleeping bag. Because they would have taken it themselves!,

For those temperature ranges for which the "Adventure Light" is designed (T comfort: +9...+4 C°, and T extreme: -10 C°), its weight is not too different from a similar sleeping bag with Primaloft® Silver insulation, in particular from the sleeping bag "Antris 120". Here the gain in weight is somewhere around 200g, but there is clearly a difference in the size of the package.

If for" Antris 120 "size: 205x80x50 cm and weight — 0.71 kg, the package size is-18x39 cm, then for "Adventure Light" size: 200x78x50 cm and weight 0.53 kg, it will be only-12.5x33 cm.,

Both sleeping bags are very light (although it is always nice to win 200 grams), but the difference in the volume that the bags will occupy in the backpack is quite noticeable.

This once again confirms that no one has jumped over the compression properties of fluff yet.

The main indicator of the thermal insulation properties of down is the characteristic of Fill Power (elasticity of down) — the volume in cubic inches to which a pre-compressed ounce of down is restored. The higher this indicator is, the less fluff is needed for insulation and the better the ratio of retained heat to weight., This factor also determines the compactness of the package.

The advantages also include greater durability than that of synthetic insulation.

Very light, warm and cozy "Adventure Light" in its temperature range is designed for summer in the mountains or spring-autumn in the middle zone. However, when choosing a sleeping bag, it should be remembered that the only drawback of down is its ability to absorb moisture. The sleeping bag is not for water trips!

In addition, the sleeping bag can be used as an internal one at sub-zero temperatures., In this case, a light sleeping bag with synthetic insulation will also collect condensate that is formed from breathing, and the inner-down will remain dry.

The "cocoon" design with an all-in-one zipper for 1/2 the length of the sleeping bag is optimal for preserving heat and reducing the weight of the sleeping bag.

A stretchable hood treated with soft velour and a protective zipper subplank insulated with primaloft will also prevent the night cold from reaching you.,

For better heat preservation, comfortable sleep and optimization of the weight of the equipment, the fact that the sleeping bag can be selected according to size also plays an essential role.

The outer fabric of the sleeping bag — NYLON 6.6 Down Proof High Density, 20D, Micro Ripstop 2*2, Teflon DWR Cire — is very light, durable, protects the inner filler from moisture as much as possible.

The inner fabric is lightweight and pleasant to the touch Nylon 20D/370T Down Proof W/R Cire with water-repellent impregnation.

Fabric of the lower part of the sleeping bag: NYLON 6.,6 Down Proof High Density, 20D, Micro Ripstop 2*2, Teflon DWR Cire + Silicone Coating, which reduces the likelihood of the sleeping bag getting wet on a wet mat.

Light, breathable fabrics do not rustle and, filled with soft down, contribute to complete relaxation inside the sleeping bag.

Special loops allow you to quickly hang the sleeping bag to dry, at the first opportunity that comes up.

Inside the bag there are loops for attaching the liner. The liner, which can be washed even on a hike, creates a feeling of a clean bed.,

In addition, the bag with the liner does not get dirty so quickly, which allows you to wash the sleeping bag less often.

With careful handling, a down sleeping bag will last longer than a sleeping bag with a synthetic filler.

Compression bags can greatly reduce the volume of packaging, but it is not recommended to store the sleeping bag in a compressed form.
