"ACU-M" Camouflage Trousers

An upgraded version of the trousers from the American army field uniform ACU. Modernization concerns both changes in the cut of the last generation of the original American form, and its own developments. Also, some general minor shortcomings of the ACU suit from the Alloy were fixed (missing stitches, the position of the pockets, matching the sizes, etc.). Attention! The ACU-M suit replaces the ACU from the Alloy, and is no longer a replica of the original American ACU kit, because it has a number of subtle design changes.Production has been discontinued, the model has been replaced with ACU-MMOD trousers.2

New wide belt loops under the trouser belt for convenience and reliability. Increased the height of the loops for a wider belt (up to 60 mm)

Belt tightening with a cord, the cord is derived from the swept loops on the inside of the belt in front. The cord can be removed if necessary

The belt is fastened with a button

Button-down fly. One-piece construction, as in the original, unlike the old version of the Alloy

The bottom of the trousers is tightened with a thin ribbon sewn in

All Velcro fasteners are sewn for reliability not only along the perimeter, but also diagonally (in the original — a simple seam along the perimeter). The loaded sides are stitched in two or three passes

The main seams are zaposhivochnye (in the lock) with a chain stitch, a lot of zig-zag fasteners in loaded places

Pockets:

• the side inset pockets and back button pockets are made in a new way — the fabric sections at the edges of the pockets are hidden under the seam instead of the overlock in the original, which increases strength and reduces skin chafing
• large side cargo pockets. With pleats to give a flat shape in an empty form, with an elastic cord on the retainer to tighten the entrance. They are fastened with buttons instead of Velcro, as in the last generation of the original ACU kit. There are three buttons, two standard ones, and one additional one at the back, it is needed to fasten the valve with a strong pull at the entrance, because the standard button moves to the center of the pocket relative to the response loop on the valve, and the third extreme button is opposite the loop. The valve height has been increased
• in the side cargo pockets, an internal organization has been added in the form of simple flat pockets made of the main fabric for small items. On the right leg there are three narrow pockets, on the left — two wide ones
• pockets on the calves, fastened with Velcro. Well-suited for carrying PPI, convenient access in a sitting position
• at the bottom of all external pockets there is a swept loop for water drainage

Gains:

• knee reinforcements have been specially adapted for use with D3O knee pads or anatomical poly-polyethylene foam inserts (not included!). To do this, the height of the reinforcements has been slightly increased and the shape of the two seams used for centering the protective inserts has been changed. The reliability of holding the knee pads inside the pads is significantly increased due to the use of a wider Velcro for fastening and a special hidden pocket, in which the lower edge of the knee pad rests. The pocket does not allow the edge of the knee pad sliding down to "break" the Velcro (see the photo in the catalog)
• the crotch is reinforced to protect against tearing, as on the original ACU trousers of the latest sample — extra fabric is added in the seam and two new fasteners
• the seat area is reinforced with a rounded overlay
